for tomorrow

newdigital:
Tomorrow we will have the following:

2007.01.16;15:00;CAD;Rate Decision;3;

Time here is in GMT+1 (see text file in post #1).

So we will have the following.

1. CAD.

BOC Interest Rate Decision.

At 14:00 GMT or 09:00 EST.

BOC Interest Rate Decision: previous: 4.25%; forecasting 4.25%; new one will be tomorrow.

That's was CAD for tomorrow.

Now about some tomorrow's news which I did not qwrote in text file (post #1).

2. GBP.

- Retail Price Index (HICP).

- RPI ex. Mortage Interest Payments (RPI-X).

What is RPI-X? This indicator is showing the level of inflation.

What is HICP? It is the same with RPI-X index but calculated especially to compare this index with the indexes from the other countries.

If value of those indexes are increased compare with the planned values so Interest Rates may be increased in this case.

It will be at 09:30 GMT.

- CPI.

- CPI core.

What is CPI? Consumer Price Index.

CPI is the main indicator to see inflation in the country.

CPI is analysing togeher with PPI (see previous posts) and doing some conclusion concerning inflation, possible Interest Rates changing. If PPI and CCI is increasing so it may be good (means uptrend) for national currency (for GBP for example).

What is CPI core? It is the same with CPI excluding energy resources and food. Why we need this CPI core? Because some people said that this CPI is more reliable index if without food and energy resources.

It will be at 09:30 GMT as well.

Retail Price Index (MoM) - Dec: previous: 0.3%; forecasting 0.6%; new one will be tomorrow.

Retail Price Index (YoY) - Dec: previous: 3.8%; forecasting 4.2%; new one will be tomorrow.

Consumer Price Index (CPI) (MoM) - Dec: previous: 0.3%; forecasting 0.5%; new one will be tomorrow.

CPI (YoY) - Dec: previous: 2.7%; forecasting 3.0%; new one will be tomorrow.

CPI Core (MoM) - Dec: previous: 0.2%; forecasting 0.3%; new one will be tomorrow.

CPI Core (YoY) - Dec: previous: 1.6%; forecasting 1.8%; new one will be tomorrow.

c4n:
But wouldn't it make more sense to test CAD related news on CAD pairs? Or just skip the news and trade only those related to 4 majors.

My main task is just to test this EA with 4 majors and to find the settings for long way run. And then, probable I will use this EA with real money.

As to CAD so USDCAD is not moving/affecting on the news immediately and I've never traded this pair before.

Because most of the news are for 4 majors: more probability to get profit.

Trades for today.

This new version is more good as we may reduce losses.

The other new which will be at 13:30 GMT is the following.

USD.

Building Permits.

Housing Starts.

Housing Completions.

Indicators for USA. This indicator is not affecting directly on the price movement. More hgher value is more good for national currency (for USD in our case). And this indicator is very sensitive to Interest Rates decision.

The other news for tomorrow.

USD.

Jobless Claims.

It is USA indicator. Weekly chaning jobless claims. This indicator is important if we want to foresee next Nonfarm payroll: if Jobless Claims value is decreasing during the month so next Nonfarm payroll value will be increased (most probable).

Jobless Claims - Jan 13: previous: 299K; forecasting 315K; new one will be tomorrow.

It will be at 13:30 GMT as well.

Philadelphia Fed Business Index - Jan: previous: -2.3; forecasting 3.0; new one will be tomorrow.

It will be tomorrow at 17:00 GMT.

I will test this new version, live, starting next week...

But only for big mover news.

Sorry but i'm little busy this week...

Question : can't include a "priced" option ?

means : sometime, when the pair we trade is already at the market price, the news do not make move the market...

Thanks.

If I understand you clearly you asked about what to do if EA placed the pending orders and no any big movement of the price? The pending orders will be deleted after 15 minutes with no any affects on the deposit. It was whole day today for me: pending orders were deleted and placed, deleted and placed because there was no any big movement of the price.
