"stella"...i think you will like her

hi guys heres a little something i think you might like,

this is something i kinda stumbled upon,i was using these

indicators to hone down my system when i noticed this.

its so simple........only 2 indicators !!!!!!!!!!

heres the RULES...

TRADE ENTRY....once SHI_SILVERTRENDSIG has confirmed either

a buy or sell DOT we buy/sell at the open of the next line/candle........

TRADE EXIT.....once SILVER TREND SIGNAL has confirmed a

buy/sell ARROW (in the same direction) we EXIT on the close

of the NEXT line/candle

NOTE - WHEN USING SILVER TREND SIGNAL,the arrow may "flash"

on and off as the price goes up and down and is ONLY CONFIRMED

WHEN THE NEXT LINE/CANDLE OPENS and the ARROW is ABOVE/BELOW

PREVIOUS LINE/CANDLE.....(makes more sense in picture)

THATS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!i have made 3 trades with this so

far 2day and all in profit, have posted my last, will post

others as they come,i think this is a brill little system

and do you know what........yes it gets better.......

........no really........so far i have used it on 4 different

pairs and in 3 different timeframes and all to profit, yes

i know its early days for this but iv got a real good feeling.

hope you like it and it makes you some ...sorry LOADS OF PIPS

GOOD TRADING ALL........THESTELLAMAN

Hi stellaman,

It seems tht u have found the holy grail. I havent back tested it but i'm definately interested in back testing it.

Keep your results posted

Seems interesting.

hi stellaman, i'm currently testing your system.

refering previous chart it seems to work well,

I think 1hr tf and 30min tf work well,

i personally don't like using it at 15min tf.

but still need to test your system further,

anyway thanks stellaman

Hi,

Isn't that SHI_SILVERTRENDSIG change the 'dot' placement if there is new high or new low found?

Hi, Isn't that SHI_SILVERTRENDSIG change the 'dot' placement if there is new high or new low found?

hi goover.....erm dont quite get the question m8,do you mean that if it places a "dot" above/below a candle that it will then move the "dot" along to the next candle if it makes a new high/low??

if this is what you are asking then .......firstly can i say i know nothing..nil...zilch..zero about coding indicators,im just happy i know how to load and use them so as for the technical side i dont know, but as for watching the indicator place its dot,no it does not seem to move the dot to the next candle if it makes a new high/low,u can see this in any of the charts as sometimes the next candle DOES make a new high/low but the "dot" remains in the same place, as i said above about the SILVERTREND_SIG this does in fact move along until it becomes confirmed(as i call it)

and if that is not what you were asking .sorry i got the point of your question wrong.......please try again caller

I think goover is right. It does shift its dot when a new low/high is made. But yet need to confirm this. Maybe we all should keep a close eye on the charts (preferably 30 mins, 1 hour or 4 hour, since these time frames are more reliable for trading). And if any one notices such a thing then we should inform the others.

Look at this piece in the code -

SHMax = High;

SHMin = Low[Lowest(NULL,0,MODE_LOW,Per,SH)];

This changes the dot as soon as a new high/low is formed...

Thx

So is there any way tht this code can be changed so tht the dots dont change their positions when new high/lows are formed?

I found 3 instances where the dots dont change. look at the red squares

hi guys, regarding wether the "dots" always move onto the next high low, just a quick check on the signals from 1st august until just now out of 43 signals on the 15 min chart on the eur/jpy 21 were on the actual high/low and 22 were not on the actual high/low..........and on 15 min chart 1st august till now on the eur/gbp out of 53 signals 30 were on the actual high low and 23 were not on the actual high low................erm what this means??????? sometimes it signals before the turn, sometimes on the high low and sometimes after the turn but is not consistent on either, will keep a watchfull eye on this during the night.

but even so, what difference does it make, the system is not conventional anyway,im taking an exit point from a buy/sell signal!!!!!!!!!!

here is another trade i done on the eur/usd 4hour chart 2day,as you can see the sinals are after the high and low?????????
