Disabling TrendEnvelopeExpert entry order function for manual trading?
As question to me so I am testing TrendEnvelopeExpert_v2.2 and TrendStrengthExpert_v2. The settings is on post #20.

I have a better understanding now after reading and digesting some more.
After learning more about the indicators I was wondering if it is possible to use the TrendEnvelopeExpert for just exiting trades when I do manual trading? If it is possible to disable the entry order function would it then recognize orders taken by me and follow them?

Newdigital, first I would like to say thank you so much for your assistance. It's a pretty big forum and as a beginner it seems difficult to get an overview. At the moment my head is alittle bit spinning around because of all the info. But it is veery exciting. I am reminding myself of a little kid coming to the big candy store
I guess I will figure things out and how stuff are related when time goes.
My question is: When the TrendEnvelopeExpert takes 2.5 pips profit every time, is this caused by a misinterpretation of the 5 digit price? I am using an Alpari UK demo which have 5 digits prices, or to put it in another way, desimal pips. Would I get 25 pips by setting it to 250.0?

Thank you for your comment. I would like to trade manually in the way you suggest, but I have not found out how to configure the EA for just exits and not opening trades.
I will check those versions. If the versions (and indicators) need to be converted for 5 digit so I can do it tomorrow.

There are many version on post #20.I have downloaded the "2.4.zip" and "2.4settings_m15.zip" under the "3. Forward testing." heading on post #20. I have used the EURUSD and GBPUSD EA's from the "2.4settings_m15.zip" archive. To be shure I have also loaded the "7_eurusd_m15.set" and "7_gbpusd_m15.set" files. Both on M15 charts.
I have only used the five indicators from "2.4.zip" without modifying them at all.

It would be hard for EA to calculate exit without entry. If this could be done a complete recode is needed. I don't believe you will find some coder to do that.
