I don't know about your case but I did not see any error in my Metatrader.
It is computer time (local computer time):
MetaTrader broker's time is 15:13 (price of the chart).
So, it is 8 hours different.
In expert I see the settings:
It means that EA will place pending orders at 9 am Metatrader broker time.
And EA did it:
8 hours different. So, 1 am local time = 9 am Metatrade broker's time.
So, SBS_v1.23 opened sell stop and buy stop at 9 am MetaTrader broker time.
word 'open" = 'place" in our case of pending orders.
Then buy stop order was executed. It was at 11:27 Metatrader broker time. Or at 03:27 local time.
And in the same time opposite pending order was deleted:
You confuses with
- open sell stop or buy stop order
and
- open sell or buy order.
"Open sell stop order" = place sell stop order.
It is not open sell.
It is simple placing pending sell stop.
Unfortunately, we can not see the whole process step by step in detailed statement. Because in detailed statement we can see open sell only. But in reality it was open sell stop and then only sell stop was executed (open sell).
But it can be request to Metaquotes I think.
...In the detailed statement it is 2008.02.20 10:30 as expected.
This is from Expert log Feb 20 17:53:42 SimpleDailyRangeBreakExpert_v1.23_gbpusd GBPUSD,H1: open #6654092 sell stop 0.40 GBPUSD at 1.9460 sl: 1.9631 ok.
So there is about 37 minutes error here.37 minutes is the difference between placing the pending order (expert log) and pending order execution (detailed statement).
It means that EA placed pending order (open sell stop) and executed this pending order (open sell) after 37 minutes.
No any error.
But this explanation is not related to this thread sorry.

And, does the "Open Sell" appear in Expert tab ?
or just "Open Sell Stop" appears in Expert tab ?

As I see SBS_v1.23 so it is about 4,000 balance/equity now. Some pairs lost a lot with this 1.23 versions. I will post the statements tomorrow.
As to SBS_v1.21 (less of risky): +248 pips for USDJPY amd some losses or the other pairs.
This EA is profitable for USDJPY - forward testing since June 2006.
