E-mailing Alerts

I have a indicator programmed I would like to semd me e-mail alerts. How do I prevent it from sending an e-mail on all the historical data. I only want the alert on live data. I am sure this has been asked before but I was unable to find it.

And as I remember Igorad inserted sms and e-mail options in his Price channel indicator so you may use it as an example.

 

I looked at each of the threads listed and they are all the same ones I looked at before posting this question. I hope someone can find an answer. I have spent some time trying to program something that works but nothing has worked. any help would be appreciated.
