Brainwashing is manual trading system from this section https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/trading_systems
Inside this section there are 2 systems: BrainTrading and Brainwashing. So, Beluck created few versions of EAs this Brainwashing with as many variations so I did not test all of the versions yet (it was long time ago). I am testing many versions if Brainwashing EA but latest version is 1d (which I did not test yet).
Please find updated statements for Brainwashing versions of the EA.
In the statement:
- open - means: open trades right now;
- pips - results in pips;
- usdchf (for example) - statement for this pair only;
- h4 - 1c EA version for H4 timeframe;
- 1c1h4 - 1c1 EA version for H4 timeframe.
- h1dyn - 1c EA version for H1 timeframe with the dynamically (manually) changing the level of iTrend indicator as a filter.
Brainwashing 1c EA for H4 timeframe:
- EURUSD; profit factor 1.12 (since April 2006 forward testing);
- GBPUSD; profit factor 0.60 (since April 2006 forward testing);
- USDJPY; profit factor 1.26 (since April 2006 forward testing);
- USDCHF; profit factor 0.88 (since April 2006 forward testing).
Brainwashing 1c1 EA for H4 timeframe:
- EURUSD; profit factor 1.33 (since August 2006 forward testing);
- GBPUSD; profit factor 0.43 (since August 2006 forward testing);
- USDJPY; profit factor 2.11 (since August 2006 forward testing);
- USDCHF; profit factor 0.57 (since August 2006 forward testing).
Brainwashing 1c EA for H1 timeframe:
- EURUSD; profit factor 1.00 (since April 2006 forward testing); 1.00 means 'no profit and no loss'.
- GBPUSD; profit factor 1.18 (since April 2006 forward testing);
- USDJPY; profit factor 0.78 (since April 2006 forward testing);
- USDCHF; profit factor 1.54 (since April 2006 forward testing).
It was Brainwashing EA version forward tested on same accounts without changing accounts and without changing the settings (the settings were estimated in 2006 and never changed).
What is Brainwashing?
It is one of the first system created on our forum.
There are 2 systems here https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/trading_systems : BrainTrading and Brainwashing. So, I am testing Brainwashing EAs in elite section.
By the way I traded this Brainwashing system live with real money during the many months manually. I like this system because I could use small deposit size to trade.
So, why Brainwashing? Why this strange name?
It was the idea in 2005-2006 and 2 coders decided to code this manual system to EAs simultaniously: Beluck and Alex from Germany. They named this system as Brainwashing that means: "wash the coder's brain". I think they had some difficulties during the coding
Brainwashing 1c1 EA,
H4 timeframe,
EURUSD,
forward testing results for many years on one account.
Blue line is equity and yellow line is balance (for starting deposit = $500).
0.1 lot size.
No money management.
MM in brainwashing EA
Hi...ND, whould you please to help
Is there any MM in brainwashing EA? which version?.
could you please explain me how to set dinamic i-Trend?
what your opinion, if we add other filter (for example : delta_stop)? to minimized false signal.
thank's
DS
No need the other filter as already existing filters are very good.
As to dinamic i-Trend so you may go to this post https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173362/page3 and you will find EAs and indicators and the settings for 3 versions I am testing (I only did not test very advanced 1d version - it is somewhere on public thread).
How to set dymanic iTrend level:
This indicator is counting everything
up to 300 bars back on the history
starting from the current bar.
And you may see the value of Itrend
(see image f1.gif). Then shift your chart
on 300 bars back and during the
shifting you may estimate the
maximum (see image f2.gif).
Then multiply this max by 0.283.
The resut is ItrendLevel.
I want to note that if you are trading
using m15 timeframe you need to estimate
ItrendLevel at least once per two days,
for h1 - one time per week. And because
of that the backtesting results are not valid
(we are backtesting using permanent
ItrendLevel value but it is subject to change).I like this Brainwashing EA because no need to have big deposit to use it. Besides, this EA (all the versions) were coded (by Beluck) from manual trading system (Brainwashing trading system) which we developed using Igorad's indicators about 3 years ago. It is somewhere in this section Brain Systems - Forex Trading
I trades this system manual on real account for many months with good results. But I used M15 timeframe with some additional indicators (1d version of this EA was coded after that). 1d version is having some more filters.
As to MM ... I did not find ... just lot size.
Thank's ND,
as the brainwashing and braintrading system both similar, base on your tested which one more profitable system?
Thank's
DS
