Blau ergodic divergence indicator ...
This would be a William Blau ergodic divergence indicator ... In his book he does not have an explicit definition of "ergodic" version of divergence indicator (which he also calls a "numerator of TSI" (true strength index)), but if we apply the logic of how he "converts" a simple indicator to an ergodic version this would be it. In this one alerts are already included (2 kinds of alerts : zero line crosses and signal line crosses)
Thanks
Mladen,, thank you very much.

Hi Mladen
You're a super pro KODING ....!
So why are you cheating on us ...?
...
Only now saw this post, so ...
That is the question you should ask William Blau and math. The question is how is that completely different math produces similar results? You have the source for MACD and you have the source for DI, compare it and tell me if they are the same. So where is the cheating done from my side? Also, you can find the book by William Blau called "Momentum, Direction and Divergence" and you can find the original code for DI by William Blau so you can compare it to the version posted here.
All that I can tell on post like yours is that MACD and DI are calculated in a completely different way and that, from that point of view (math point of view) have nothing in common, so DI is not MACD. But then, you could easily check that by simply taking a look at the code
All the best

And now, the "regular stuff" ...
This is the slope divergence true strength index. Original was posted at this post : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum . This version is converted to metatrader 4 with a bit different look

...
William Blau uses "ergodic" term in the name of the indicator when he applies a 32,5,5 smoothing parameters to any of his momentum and divergence exploring indicators (TSI ,DI, TVI , ... and so on). So, as far as William Blau is concerned it is just a matter of parameters

Do you ever think Mladen is sharing his great knowledge work indicators with us which are almost PRICELESS !
May be you not
Good Luck

Ergodic TVI
Does anyone have a metatrader ergodic TVI indicator mq4 they would share on this thread?
Thank You

William Blau ergodic TVI ...
This should do it
It is a William Blau ergodic tvi with one extra : this one allows one addition smoothing (the Period3 is set by default to 1, but it can be set to any value desired). To remind, by William Blaus definition of ergodic tick volume indicator (TVI) it is an ergodic when periods are set to 32,5,1 and signal is set to 5. Other combinations are not, according to Blau, "ergodic TVI"
