Problem with Renko charts in the new MT4

Hi all, I have a problem with Renko charts in the new MT4.

I’m using Renko Live Chart v 3.2 in the OLD MT4 version, but I don’t see the M2 chart in the offline folder in the NEW MT4 version.

I have read this article https://www.mql5.com/en/articles/1387 and make the suggested adjustments but it doesn’t work.

Could you help me?

I suggest you attach the file or link to it in order to check that the necessary alterations are in fact correct. Otherwise, one cannot offer you a solution without the code.

The file you supplied does not seem to have any of the necessary corrections. After a quick look the following is still incorrect ...

1) It is still using ANSI version of DLL functions ("A") instead of Unicode Wide version("W").

2) History file is not opened in explicit shared mode.

3) Old version of history file is being produced instead of the new version ( https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/149178 )

There is probably more errors and corrections to be made but I only had a quick glance.

Uh oh, all these problems?

Unfortunately I’m not a big programmer, I don’t know how to fix them.

Is there anyone using Renko charts with the new MT4?

Why not contact the original uploader/author/developer and see if there is an updated version? ( https://www.mql5.com/en/code/9358 )

Alternatively, see the Jobs section for someone to make the changes for you.
