If broker say support MT4, can I use MT5 client to trade with him

I am a novice, are learning EA. MQL5 paradigm more conducive to beginners and improve. The brokers, almost all say that they support MT4, but did not say support MT5. The EA with MT5 with these brokers do business, work?

saying they support MT4 does not mean they support MT5 any more than a gas station saying they sell gasoline means they sell diesel or have an electric charging station.

There are no mind readers here. Only the broker knows why the broker hasn't modified their server to support a incomplete, developmental product yet.
