immediately jump to particular past time in a chart

Hi i'm a newbie here.

i'd like to know how i can go back to a particular past time point (e.g. Jan 07 2009) quickly.

it takes too long by dragging the chart manually ..

Zooming out helps . . . PgUP and PgDn, Home and End or click on the chart X axis in the bottom left and enter the date you want to scroll to . . . you must already have data for the date you want to go to

I change the chart to a high time-frame and scroll back on that so that the time I want is far left on the chart and then change back to the original time-frame.

Click the chart, pres enter, enter a date (yyyy.mm.dd format) in the quick scroll box
