How do i go to older dates?

I have a demo account.

I'm trying to go older dates to do some backtesting, the farthest it will go back to is 9/26/12


Is there a way to go back some more?

Get more data and get it into MT4,  it has been discussed many, many times,  use the search and you can find the discussions.

Now when push the back button, it skips from Jan 2013 straight to Jan 2011

It is skipping all of 2012


Why is it doing that?

Probably because you don't have data for 2012

Yo get 2012 data and you import it.

I have a demo account so in this example do I need to disconnect from the broker, if so HOW?

I try it and still having the same problems, so I guess I do need to disconnect, but not sure how

I disconnect by logging in with a false id,  just enter a few random numbers,  then click login,  the login fails and you are disconnected.
