Can we choose any server for a new account at MT4 downloaded by this site (mql4.com) ?

As I saw, a Server of FXCM detected and linked to my account.
What I wonder is why Metaquotes doesn't have his own Server, instead of linking to a Server of some broker
Can I open an account with any server (of any broker) that I want ?
Yep. You can to other broker website, and download the installer of their MT4 from there.
