Testing a strategy

I am not sure what you are asking here. You usually test a strategy by coding an EA or an indicator that implements that strategy. Could you explain further what you want to do exactly.
Please help me to test A STRATEGY: I'm trading on MT4 but I noticed that I can test only the EA, but could be possible to test any strategy used on MT4, at least using the data on 6months.

If testing manually turn off the autoscroll and then scroll back. As you reveal more of the chart you can test your stratergy that way.
You can put the bar data into a spreadsheet and test it step by step in that.
