There is a limit of 8 Indicator buffers, each line uses 2 buffers so you are limited to 4 lines . . .

Just had a thought . . you could have more than 4 lines but you would have to use one buffer (therefore the same colour) for each, you currently use colour, red & white for example, could you use position instead ? So instead of red the square would be higher than the square that would previously have been white . . .

Exactly, drawing histograms, you need 2 buffers per color. Here's an example of a 6 color histogram indicator, Download the newly updated GRaB 2.0 plug in for MT4 | Official website for trader and author Raghee Horner. Basically 3 identical indicators working together.
