Limited Bars in StrategyTester

Hello,


I have problems with strategy tester. I have developed an indicator that uses past data to correct itself. When I assign it to graph it corrects its parameters and till current time is well fitted to graph. For example when I have about 20000 Bars on graph in MT4 history.



However when I included this indicator in EA I observed that it works very poorly. I have analyzed it and it turned out that in strategy tester while my EA working the same indicator on the same symbol and same timeframe has only 1000 Bars in history. I wonder if I could change it somehow? Why indicators works on limited History in Strategy Tester?


Did you have similar problems with MT4?

 
I had similar problems with an EA I coded. Haven't found a solution yet. Same problem, only 1000 bars in tester history.

No problem just have to let tester get the bars before you try and access them.
