Namiyomi Zero Shot Range forecasts how far price may move in the next 1, 4 and 24 hours — the expected high-low range — with a zero-shot time-series AI that runs inside MetaTrader 5. It does not forecast the direction.
What you see
- Now — the expected high-low range for the next 1, 4 and 24 hours (in pips on 5- and 3-digit quotes; in price for BTCUSD), and how today's 4-hour forecast compares with the median of the 4-hour forecasts made at this hour on the last 20 days: Calm, Normal or Wild.
- Lot helper (in the Now tab) — place your stop at a multiple of the 4-hour range (input) and see the lot size for your risk percentage. The indicator never trades.
- Track record — the indicator replays its own forecasts on your chart: the line is the forecast made before each 4-hour window, the dots are what actually happened, and its correlation with the actual range is shown next to that of ATR(14) x 2. You can check it yourself on your broker's data.
- About — the AI model, its license, and a button that writes the full license text to MQL5\Files.
The AI
- IBM Granite TimeSeries TTM-R2 (Tiny Time Mixers), an open model under the Apache License 2.0, converted to ONNX and embedded in the indicator. The weights are unchanged.
- Zero-shot: the model's weights were not trained or fine-tuned on your symbol. A small per-symbol calibration, fitted on 2018–2022 data for each supported symbol, converts the model output into a high-low range.
- No DLL, no WebRequest, no API key, no external server. It also runs in the Strategy Tester.
How it was tested (our own tests, not a promise)
- Out-of-sample period 2025-01 to 2026-10, H1 data, the next 4 hours' high-low range: on 6 of 7 symbols tested the forecast was more accurate than two standard econometric baselines (HAR and an hour-of-day profile), and much more accurate than ATR. It was not better on XAUUSD, so XAUUSD is not supported.
- A good range forecast does not tell you which way price will move. Use it to size stops and positions, or to decide when the market is too quiet for your strategy.
Supported symbols and data
EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD, USDCHF, BTCUSD. The indicator reads H1 bars (512 closed bars are needed) and can be attached to a chart of any timeframe. Symbol names with suffixes (for example EURUSD.raw) are recognized.
