Brendan EA (for backtesting manual strategy)

This is simply based on if the daily candle closes (at 00:05 server time of my mt4 broker) higher/lower then a buy/sell order is triggered and then using a 4 hour chart it sets your TP/SL based on what is stated below.

 

Adjustable settings

-use on any pair

-ability to be able to adjust lot sizes
-ability to be able to offset, the TP/SL by the the average spread of pair being traded. ie eg 1 pip below low/high of 4 hour candle.

 

When BUY trade(s) should be opened?
-When a daily candle (new York server time currently 7am Australian EAST time) closes HIGHER then what it opened.
Do this for Friday’s daily candle as soon as market opens (Monday morning open Australia time), Monday daily candle (Tuesday mornings Australia time), Tuesday daily candle (Wednesday morning Australia time), Thursdays daily close (Friday morning Australia time)

S/L to be placed  TWO 4hour candle low away which MUST BE LOWER THEN THE LOW OF THE 20:00 CANDLE. Also must be at least 10pips difference between the two candles. If there isn’t 10pips go to the next 4 hour candle low.



-T/P to be the same distance as the S/L above the executed price.

-can these orders be place after 00.05 server time after mt4 platform allows orders to be placed each day (for optimization reasons that my broker does)

-EVERYTHING ELSE IS THE SAME, JUST OPPOSITE DIRECTION AS BUY ORDER

When BUY trade(s) should be closed?
-If T/P or S/L isn't hit but the new daily candle closes in the opposite direction as the previous one then the order should be closed at 00.05 server time. If another daily candle closes bullish then existing order will remain open and a new order to be placed in the new direction of daily close.

When SELL trade(s) should be closed?
-If T/P or S/L isn't hit but the new daily candle closes in the opposite direction as the previous one then the order should be closed out at 00.05 server time. If another daily candle closes bearish then existing order will remain open and a new order to be placed in the new direction of daily close.
