Hi,
I'm looking for a coder who can add two basic functions to an existing EA
The EA itself is based on a Dollar Averaging System.
I want to be able to stop and start the opening of new positions.
By this, I mean if the market is going in the wrong direction the EA keeps averaging, then we can stop it trading after X trades.
If the market keeps going in the wrong direction, then it begins opening new positions after X pips move.
This leaves a big gap where the average price will be better, but less trades opened to achieve it.
Additionally, there will be an overall maximum trades allowable before it stops trading (the broker max is x 400 open trades allowable))
Image 1 - shows how the EA closes at an average price (plus profit in pips)
Image 2 - shows how the EA will keep opening trades if price goes the wrong way waiting for a turn around.
