CONVERT EA TO INDICATOR
TREND METER EA with INDICATORS
I have an EA called Trend Meter. It uses a mixture of custom indicators and mql5 built in ones. Click here to download the EA, Indicators and Template to see how my chart looks. Note, you must add a file called SubWin into the Experts file so that Trend Meter paints in a SubWindow.
On the chart painting, these are the abbreviations for the indicators:
HA = Heiken Ashi
HM = Hull Moving Average
SH = Heiken Ashi Smoothed
GS = Gold Stuff
JP = Japanese Candles
INSTRUCTIONS TO MODIFY TREND METER EA
1st Arrow signal for "Signal - Higher TF" will appear once the total % of selected indicator(s) and timeframe sets
2nd Arrow signal for "Entry - Lower TF" will appear once the total % of selected indicator(s) and timeframe sets
The "Signal - Higher TF" will determine the PRIORITY alert signal.
The "Entry - Lower TF" will determine the SECONDARY entry trigger signal.
When the Signal reverses direction, in the same way, create an exit signal
Add a parameter field where I can input the percentage threshold that I want to achieve before a signal is generated. For example, I may want to type in 100%. If the average total percentage of the indicators and timeframe sets are below that, it will generate a virtual signal but not a true signal on the chart..
This new indicator will cooperate with RunwiseFX Strategy Builder. They have a library https://runwisefx.com/rules/i.htm?md=csa of custom indicators that act as plugins with their EA. All they require from us is a snippet of code for the entry and another one for the exit. They are very responsive if you need help. Contact them at support@runwisefx.com
To see the snippet of code for any of the indicators in the library simply click on the hyperlink labeled Detals. See https://runwisefx.com/rules/i.htm?md=csa
ADDTIONAL FEATURES:
1. I want the option to hide the indicator rows that I don't want painted.
2. Add one more indicator. It's called CAP Channel Trading https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/20808?source=External%3Ahttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F. It has arrow signals
