I have been testing a strategy based on ATR on different timeframes and back to 2017. The succes rate is very dependant of the combination timeframe and volatility. But it seems promising. It looses a lot of points but wins even more.

The strategy is running on a Pine Script in TradingView where I have tested it theoretically, and I need to have it translated to MQL to be used in MT4 for the TradeDirect365 broker.

It is important for me that I get a robot that can run in production, so I need help to get it tested on a demoaccount and also to get it into production.

The strategy gives trading signals (buy as well as sell) and I have tested it where I take all trades and that is also my idea, i.e. simply reverse the same position from long to short (or vice versa) according to the trading signals. My idea is to trade indices like DAX30, Dow30, FTSE.

The strategy works quite well, but could possibly be improved by only using the entrance signals, and do the exit according to MACD based signals.

It is a challenge to decide when to take the trade in live trading. In my theoretically tests it is easy, because I just assumes that the trade has been executed at the exact signal price. But how to do that in live trading? Sometimes a candle hits the signal price but retraces and the signal price is never reached because the trend reverses. In that case the trade should in theory not be taken. I am open for suggestions.

But I am curious to hear how to do this nd if it is possible - what do you need from me and what should I expect when it comes to a price?
