If you use MQL5 VPS you don't have to tick again the: Enable realtime signal subscription, in signals settings tab.
You are copying the signal twice, once locally in your terminal and once in your MQL5 VPS.

the MT5 linked to the Signal is on the VPS, I am not opening it locally, I am logging to the VPS to check it from time to time.

You could try closing the 2nd trade and see if it stays like that, very rarely the system can open a double trade by mistake.
