Why a lot of MT5 broker only have history data from 2011?

Do you know why a lot of MT5 broker only have history data from 2011?  

Do you know any broker have high quality MT5 data earlier than 2011?

In MT5, you can get datas from the brokers.

It depends a lot of the instrument and the broker, but generally you'll find quality datas for many years for forex (usdjpy, eurusd ...), and only a few years for indices and futures products (oil, nikkei etc ...)

With the default metaquotes server (the one your terminal connects to when you first launch it), you'll find good historical datas for forex & metals only - BUT - it's not your broker's datas. 

If you plan to run an EA, you have to use datas from your broker to optimize it.

If you're just doing some tests metaquotes brokers is enough.
