Here is a filter that works pretty well. It's based on volatility though. It's a signal to noise filter and attemtps to keep you safe by predicting signals that would have turned out to be whipsaws. I use it with braintrend. If the green line is below the grey line, don't trade. I dont know who wrote it. Enjoy
Very nice indicator indeed. Does anybody know of a similar one that is open source? I wanted to add an alarm but as it's an .ex4 I'm unable too.
Thanks for your help.

LuxI found out that the guy who wrote this indicator is Luis Damiani. Find him at damianifx.com.br. He's got some other interesting indicators and may be able to help with the alert you are looking for.
The R-Squared and Lin Reg is brill. Well done Igorad.

There are some very nice Indicators. I like a lot: '3 TREAM Trix' but unfortunatelly it is not working well - keep pausing, so you have to reload template to get accurate lines. Anyone have fixed indicator?
Btw, he is also leading EA Contest (mostly in combination with Hendrik's Phoenix) and this indicator - volatmeter is (as I've heard) part of his system.

Hi, I recently developed Linear Regression Slope indicator with standard algorithm from TradeStation.
hi, can someone code an histogram of LSMA slope, please?
Special Linear Regression Channels
Does anyone have a linear regression indicator as shown in the screenshot. If not, is there anyone willing to alter one of the LRC indicators so it can draw channels as shown? I'm guessing it shouldn't be too hard...
It draws new channels once price has moved a certain distance above/below the channel, while keeping previous channels on the charts such as in the attached pic.
Thanks in advance!
One good indicator is here https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/174257
Linear Regression channel is on this thread https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/174318
