Can MT4 price data be accessed by other programs?
Is it possible to access price data from metatrader from another program? Does MT4 interact with other software?
I believe eSignal has this feature, where people can write their own software, tools and indicators, integrating with eSignal as the data provider.

- By export of history data
- By writing online data to a file (as long as you don't need high volume, high convergence)
- By use of a third party API
- By calling a DLL from your EA
- By use of DDE (eg dynamically populating Excel cells from MT4)
