Kolier, Thank you, i really like the indicator. It could use some refinements as i get new ideas, and maybe try to turn to EA later. here is what i would like to add now. Let me know what you think ok? - Brian
1. default line levels (or objects), 0.00, $10, -$10, $25,-$25, $50, -$50, 100, -100, 150, -150, 200, -200, 250, -250, 300, -300, 350, -350, 400, -400, 450, -450, 500, -500, 55-, -550, 600, -600, 650, -650, 700. -700, 750, -750, 800, -800, 850, -850, 900, -900, 950, -950, $1000, -$1000
2. all current symbols combined total currently. this is the total if you add the current profit for all symbols. Show this as a comment, showing under the current High/Low comment in top right corner.
3. i need indi to show when history data starts for each pair so when i put pairs in, i know they have the history data. can it show a comments like this on left side of subwindow:
EURUSD oldest data = 2013.01.15
USDCHF oldest data = 2013.04.20 (i could see quickly that this one
needs more history download, and i don't have to check each individual
pair to see if the history is there)
EURCHF oldest data= 2013.01.15
4. can the indicator have a user-inpuit variable for true or false to automatically load the pairs currently open on the chart and include lot size and the open time. possible?
5. show comment on right side "current combined spread" ----- Yes only the spread value.
-----arrange on chart like shown in 6.
6. actually i like the high/low for individual pairs now. so can the right side comments look like this:
individual pair highest/lowest = xx/xx (this is the indicator current comment ) Show as "pair h/l= xx/xx"
total current profit = $xx.xx (this is the new comment i am requesting in #2.) Show as "current profit = $xx.xx"
current combined spread = $xx.xx (this is the comment i am requesting in #5.) show as "current total spread = xx.xx"
7. automatically make zero line same on all charts. I don't want to be required to adjust maximum and minimum on every chart when i change the view or the date.
-----If $0.00 line shows by default, then if you add a second indicator, both $0.00 lines should adjust to be same level. This may require the maximum and minimum to adjust for all indicators in that window, so they all assume the same maximum and/or minimum automatically depending on what symbol you put in and whether the line goes off the chart. Any symbol could change the maximum and/or minimum and all charts would automatically adjust to match. possible to do?
8. let most extreme chart lines determine maximum and minimum for all charts. (This is basically #7. ----the chart with highest or lowest line determines maximum or minimum for all indicators in the window.)
You asked if i think different color works. Color is not a factor for this, i just meant to ask this along with the above #6., ill try to explain
if i add a second indicator, for example, the profit line goes below the current window minimum and maximum, i would be required to change the maximum and minimum on every indicator currently on chart so they all match $0.00 line.
If i have 3 or 4 indicators on there that would be a lot of time to change all the indicators. I would like for the indicator when attached to chart, to automatically fit the line in teh window, the maximum and minimum based on fitting it into the window with a small buffer for visual so you can see the a small space between line and edge of window.
and if you ad new indicator, it would adjust to fit the maximum and minimum lines in the window and any previous charts would all match $0.00 lines and also maximum and minimums would all match up automatically. ok?
you may want to adjust your quotes based on these details. Thank you.
Hi, Brian,
EA is always possible, just need detail logic.
#1, MT4 limit the level lines to 32, thought can create object lines alternatively if you want.
#2, Not sure what it's. Separate profit for all working symbols?
#3, Ok
#4, Yes
#5, Just spread value? And you seems have some elements now on the top-right. How do you arrange it?
Quote is $50.
#6, Ok.
#7, Not sure, please detail it.
#8, Do you think different color works?
Quote is about $60.
