ТОРГОВЛЯ НА ФОРЕКС В НОВОГОДНИЕ ПРАЗДНИКИ// Forex Trading New Year holidays

Близится Новый Год, а вместе с ним и долгожданные долгие выходные. Мысли о застолье, гуляниях и т.п. уже сейчас не дают офисным служащим спокойно спать на работе. А как же обстоят дела на форексе? Когда отключать советники и прекращать ручную торговлю?

Стоит упомянуть, что в Америке и других католических странах, основным праздником является Рождество – 25 декабря, а не сам Новый Год, как в России. Поэтому именно после 25 декабря , не дожидаясь 31 числа стоит прекратить торговлю. Многие инвестиционные фонды и банки закрывают позиции уже 19-20 числа, однако в целом рабочая активность, пусть и не столь динамичная, наблюдается вплоть до самого католического рождества.

Я обычно держу позиции на дневных графиках где-то до вечера 24 декабря. 

После 25 декабря и вплоть до самого Нового Года на рынке делать нечего – форекс работает, но движения минимальны и трудно предсказуемы. 31 декабря обычно короткий день , ну а первые дни нового года форекс не работает. Точное расписание работы рынка в праздники вам обязательно пришлет ваш брокер.

Обратите внимание, что многие брокерские конторы расширяют спреды на период праздников. Здесь все очень зависит от каждого конкретного года и конкретного брокера, поэтому точных дат периода увеличения спреда я вам дать не могу. В первые дни января, перед тем как открыть позицию, проверьте спред – если он превышает нормальные значения в обычные будни, то лучше пока не торговать.

Когда же на рынок возвращается нормальная активность? Тут всякого рода аналитики любят разводить рассуждения и кричать, что на рынке делать нечего чуть ли не до конца февраля. Чушь. Я много раз видел крупные движения, которые зарождались в самом начале января и приносили сотни пунктов на дневных графиках. Сигналы технического анализа по-прежнему соблюдаются, и если спреды не завышены – вполне можно открывать позиции.

Также многие любят умничать,  что мол рынок после праздников тонкий и торговать опасно. Что это означает на практике? Объемы торгов небольшие, мощных движений нет. Если нет мощных движений, то в чем опасность? Просто нужно при торговле внутри дня не ставить большие цели,в  числах до 16, и, соответственно, не использовать большие стопы. Уменьшите пропорционально стоп-лосс и тейк-профит в вашей системе, и вполне можно торговать. На дневных графиках, как я уже говорил, никаких аномалий не наблюдается.

А вот всякого рода чувствительные советники (скальперы), лучше до середины января отключить. Да и не только скальперы – все АТС по-хорошему стоит отложить до стабилизации рынка.

Итак, подведем итоги:

• Все позиции закрываем 24 декабря
• После 4 января вполне можно торговать
• До 16 января при торговле внутри дня уменьшаем тейки и стопы
• До 16 января не используем советники
• На дневных графиках торгуем как обычно
• Самое главное: следим за расширением спредов.

P.S. Дам небольшой финт – после Нового Года, тенденция, которая была на дневных графиках последние несколько недель в прошлом году, как правило разворачивается .

Please note that many brokerages spreads widen during the holidays. It all very much depends on each particular year and the particular broker, so the exact dates the period of increasing the spread, I can not give you. In the first days of January, before the open position, check the spread - if it exceeds the normal values ​​in the usual routine, it is best not to trade is.

When the market returns to normal activity? Here all kinds of analysts like to breed arguments and shouting that the market has nothing to do almost to the end of February. Nonsense. Many times I saw large movements, which originated at the beginning of January and brought hundreds of items on the daily charts. Technical Analysis Signals are still observed, and if spreads are not too high - it is quite possible to open positions.

Also, many people like to try to be clever, saying that the market is thin after the holidays, and trading is dangerous. What does this mean in practice? Trading volumes are small, there is no powerful movements. If there is no powerful movements, what is the danger? Just do not put big targets, in numbers up to 16, and, accordingly, do not use big stops when trading intraday. Reduce the proportion to the stop-loss and take-profit in your system, and it can be traded. On the daily charts, as I said, no abnormalities were observed.

But all sorts of sensitive advisers (scalpers), it is better to disable the middle of January. And not just scalpers - all EA in an amicable way should be postponed until the market stabilizes.

So, to summarize:

-All positions will be closed December 24

-After January 4, it is possible to trade

-Prior to January 16, with trade and reduce Teika foot within days

-Until January 16 did not use advisers

-On the daily charts are trading as usual

-Most importantly, follow the widening of spreads.
